About Me
I am a self employed website designer with a strong interest in horticulture.
For the last 2 years I have been working on the website for Cotswold Garden Flowers, who are based in Evesham. I designed the current website from the ground up and have set up the email system for the nursery.
I aim to design simple fully functional websites, which do not over-power you with 'eye-candy'. One of my strong points is that I don't beleive in spending (your?) money unnecessarily.
I can advise on how to register your domain names economically - I would never advise you to register your domain with a web hosting company.
Webhosting - I can recommend a suitable webhost to host your website. I can also host your website myself. The going rate for a decent webhosting package is £50/year, and that includes email/spam filters/database/etc. you can also add on a couple of extra domains to the package for no extra cost. Cotswold Garden Flowers also have a seperate wholesale site on the same package and this website is also using the same package - all for £50 a year!
Webshop - this is a new venture for me, the kniphofia.co.uk webshop is a trial of the technology. If you are interested, please let me know. As a guide a similar shop will cost about £1000 to set up, with no on-going costs apart from your webhost costs.
My current rate for webdesign or IT work is £100 a day.
